Recticel Group Expands into the US with First Insulated Panels Facility in Tennessee

Recticel Group, 26.02.2026

Recticel Group proudly announces the construction of its first US-based manufacturing facility for insulated panels. Located in Maury County, Tennessee, this new site will operate under Trimo North America and represents a major milestone in the Group’s long-term growth strategy. It reinforces Recticel Group’s ambition to build a strong local presence while supporting the evolving needs of the American construction industry.

It also demonstrates our long-term commitment to the region, where we are already present with engineered acoustic products designed by Soundcoat out of Deer Park (NY) and Irvine (CA).

By establishing local manufacturing capabilities, Recticel strengthens its ability to:

  • Serve US clients faster and more efficiently
  • Provide market-tailored insulated panel solutions
  • Demonstrate long-term commitment to regional development

Insulated panels are at the forefront of modern building envelope solutions. Their benefits make them increasingly attractive across industrial, commercial, and architectural construction, leading to improved building energy efficiency, shortened construction timelines and design flexibility. By combining insulation and exterior cladding into one integrated system, insulated panels provide a smarter, faster, and more sustainable building solution.

The Tennessee facility represents a €50 million investment and will create 78 new jobs. The plant will manufacture both mineral wool and PIR insulated panels, expanding Recticel’s production footprint and technical capabilities. This project is being developed in close partnership with the State of Tennessee, whose proactive economic development support and collaborative approach have been instrumental in making this investment possible.
