Recticel has collected a second award for its 2024 Annual Report! The ESG Transparency Award was presented yesterday at the ESG Summit 2025, part of a European Sustainability Week organised by EUPD Group. Recticel’s report was categorised in the highest Excellence Level, with a score of 92.91%. Recticel was also named a Leading Company in Europe.

The ESG Transparency Award recognises European companies that have embedded forward-looking sustainability concepts in their organisation and communicate them transparently in the form of a sustainability report as part of their annual report. Winners are selected based on a rigorous evaluation standard developed by EUPD Research as a scientifically grounded framework for assessing ESG reporting. It draws on European and international guidelines like the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), as well as global benchmarks and best practices. In 2025, more than 27 countries participated in the award, representing around 20 industry sectors.

We are delighted with this achievement, which follows an award last week for Best Sustainability Report in the scope of CSRD for 2024, from the Belgian Institute of Registered Auditors (IBR-IRE). For Werner Van Peteghem, Sustainability & Communications Director, it provides valuable confirmation that the company’s sustainability policy and reporting process are on the right track:

“This recognition motivates us to keep aiming higher. Transparent reporting is a way of showing responsibility and earning the trust  of our customers, partners and investors. It also encourages collaboration and uniform standards of disclosure across the industry. We believe firmly in the benefits of this and we are determined to lead the way.”

As it continues to invest time and resources in transparent, credible ESG reporting, Recticel is clear that there are economic as well as social and environmental benefits. The 2024 Annual Report communicates the central role of sustainability and ESG in every aspect of the Group’s day-to-day operations and innovative insulation solutions:
